    Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum

    This is the only museum, which is fully dedicated to the perils of maritime transport. Located near the museum is the oldest active lighthouse on Lake Superior. A new museum store was recently built. The museum is owned and operated by the Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society.

    Harbour House Heritage Center Museum
    Located in restored Queen Anne Colonial Revival home, the Harbour House Heritage Center Museum features turn-of-the-century furnishings, logging exhibits, mining displays and collections of antiques. The museum is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day on Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 4pm.

    Eagle Harbor Lighthouse Museums

    The Keweenaw County Historical Society maintains several museums at the Eagle Harbor Lighthouse Complex. A maritime museum is located in the old fog signal building, while the Keweenaw mining museum, a commercial fishing museum and an exhibit on the 1926 shipwreck of the City of Bangor are also located on the grounds. The lighthouse and museums are open from mid-June until early October.

    Point Iroquois Lighthouse

    Located near Brimley, Point Iroquois Lighthouse overlooks the area where Lake Superior enters St. Mary's River. Completed in 1855, this lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and visitors can climb to the top of the tower and enjoy the stunning views. A museum and a gift shop are located on the premises, both open from May 15th through to October 15th.

    Iron County Historical Museum

    The Iron County Historical Museum is a large outdoor museum that consists of 22 buildings. Visitors enjoy exploring The Lee LeBlanc Wildlife Art Gallery and the Bernhardt Contemporary Art Gallery, as well as the Main Building, which houses historic artifacts pertaining to the area's mining and logging heritage. The museum is open from mid-May until mid-October.

    Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum

    Located an hour-and-a-half drive from Sault Ste. Marie, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum is dedicated to the perils of maritime transport on the Great Lakes.     Seul Choix Point Lighthouse on Lake Michigan

    Located 14 mi (23 km) east of Manistique, the Seul Choix Point Lighthouse is known as the 'Haunted Lighthouse,' as visitors and workers have reported strange happenings in the historic building.
